People Overview

The core staff of the VHI is comprised of a Director, a Development Officer, a Research Administrator, and a varying number of salaried postdoctoral research associates and assistants, often attached to specific projects.

There is a wider group of Research Associates and Senior Research Associates from different disciplinary backgrounds who hold academic or professional positions outside the VHI, and are engaged in our various research projects.

The VHI has an external Advisory Board as well as distinguished Patrons, who offer advice on research and outreach activities.

We regularly welcome Visiting Fellows and Scholars to spend time in Cambridge to carry out their research and to collaborate with our team. We also welcome Graduate Students who help run our events and reading groups.

Expressions of interest to become a Research Associate or a Visiting Scholar at the VHI should be sent to the Director, . Read more here about our research work.
