Tia Mittle joined the VHI in the Lent term 2025 as part of the internship programme through Notre Dame London. She is an undergraduate at the University of Notre Dame (USA), studying Global Affairs and Political Science, with a focus on international development studies. She is prominently involved with the Kellogg Institute for International Studies at Notre Dame, conducting research on South Asian democracy and law as a Kellogg International Scholar. She participated in the Spring 2024 Washington Program, interning at the National Endowment for Democracy in DC and is currently participating in the Kennedy Scholars Program at Notre Dame London. She serves as the co-president of FeministND, a God & the Good Life fellow, Diplomacy Scholar, and the Secretary of the South Asian Student Association at Notre Dame.
