Biography

Dora joined the VHI in the Lent term 2025 as part of the internship programme through Notre Dame London. She is an undergraduate at the University of Notre Dame (USA), studying in the Program of Liberal Studies with minors in History and the Glynn Family Honors Program. At Notre Dame, she is the vice president of Ballet Club, a choreographer and performer for the Dance Company,  a DeNicola Center for Ethics and Culture Sorin Fellow, and works as a campus tour guide. In the UK, she is currently working on her Certificate at the Royal School of Needlework and participating in the Kennedy Scholars Program at Notre Dame London. Dora has completed multiple funded research projects during her time as an undergraduate, focusing primarily on the role of needlework in literature. Her research interests include needlework and literature, Elizabethan literature, Catholic recusancy, Jane Austen, and both reading and writing poetry.
