Brigid is the Executive Officer of the VHI. Most recently, she served as Chief of Staff to Tina Brown’s Women in the World Media, a live events / live journalism organization based in New York City highlighting global women of impact. Most well known for its annual Summit hosted at Lincoln Center, Women in the World convened female firebrands and change-makers — from the likes of Oprah Winfrey to Maria Ressa, Stacey Abrams to Meryl Streep, Manal al-Sharif to Amanda Gorman — to showcase stories and issues uniquely experienced by women. During her tenure, Brigid assisted with the production of Wondery's podcast entitled, “TBD with Tina Brown” and New York Times bestseller The Palace Papers (Crown; 2022), a sequel to The Diana Chronicles, a biography of the Princess of Wales.

Brigid graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in English and in Film, Television, and Theater, later to complete the Columbia Publishing Course at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in 2018. Hailing originally from a professional background in Secondary English, she maintains ongoing interests in performance-based curricula and utilizing Shakepseare as a means to improve literacy.
