Our vision for the VHI's future is fresh, bold and expansive:
- We have relaunched the Institute to be the first Institute of Advanced Studies in Europe inspired by a catholic worldview;
- We will provide a home for critical catholic inquiry in the heart of the University of Cambridge, one of the best universities in the world;
- We are a key part of major developments at St Edmund’s College, one of the most vibrant, international and diverse colleges in the University.
We are actively expanding our activities and impact by:
- establishing several visiting research positions, drawing the best thinking from around the world;
- enhancing our impact on future leaders through postdoctoral and graduate positions;
- promoting lectures, conferences and workshops, and providing a leading venue for high-quality, international thinking on global issues;
- increasing our impact through publications and other media.
We are planning to create a new home for the institute with state-of-the-art facilities in the new wing of St Edmund’s College. This major development will ensure the VHI’s distinctive contribution well into the future.
