Von Hügel Institute

for Critical Catholic Inquiry

On Monday 24 July the VHI held a seminar to present the key findings of the research project The Relevance of Catholic Social Thought and Practise in the Field of Migration and Asylum Policy in the UK.

This project, led by Dr Sara Silvestri, with the assistance of Dr Elif Cetin, and funded by the Plater Trust, addressed the practical and moral contribution of
Christian values to the work of Catholic charities and policy makers
in the UK addressing the needs of migrants, refugees and host
communities.
