The launch of The Archbishop of Canterbury Lent Book 2018 SAY IT TO GOD: IN SEARCH OF PRAYER in London on FRIDAY 16 FEBRUARY with the author, Luigi Gioia, and Rowan Williams, Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge, and former Archbishop of Canterbury.

Luigi Gioia is a lecturer in Systematic Theology and a spiritual writer. He did his doctoral studies at Oxford University on Augustine’s De Trinitate. He taught for many years at the Pontifical University of Sant’Anselmo in Rome and is now Research Associate of the Von Hügel Institute at the University of Cambridge.

Rowan Wililiams (Baron Williams of Oystermouth) is Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge, UK. He was formerly Lady Margaret Professor of Divinity at the University of Oxford, UK, and Archibishop of Canterbury from 2002 to 2012. Best know for works like The Wound of Knowledge (1979) and Arius: Heresy and Tradition (2001) he has kept spirituality at the center of his theology and of his writings, as for example in his latest book Holy Loving. The Christian Tradition for Today (2017) published by Bloomsbury.
