Elif Cetin appointed visiting scholar at EUI Migration Policy Centre

VHI's Research Associate Dr Elif Çetin has been appointed as a Visiting Scholar at the Migration Policy Centre of the European University Institute (Florence, Italy), where she is conducting research for her upcoming book on migration politics in UK and Italy.

Elif is Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology of Yaşar University, Izmir, Turkey and she has been a Junior Research Fellow at Wolfson College, Cambridge. Her research interests include the politicisation of immigration, UK and Italian immigration politics, political discourse formation, and development of immigration control policies in Europe.
