Condolence message on the death of Rev Dr John Hughes

The Von Hugel Institute is saddened to learn of the death in a car accident of Rev Dr John Hughes, Dean of Jesus College. Rev Hughes, a noted specialist on the relationship between Catholic Social Teaching and economics, delivered one of the VHI lectures on 'Work and the Human Person' in the 2010-2011 Lecture Series. We would like to express our condolences to Rev Hughes's family and to the members of Jesus College and our sorrow at this untimely loss of a valued member of the Cambridge academic community.
