Vacancy: VHI Administrator (part-time/temporary)

 

Up to £34,000 per annum plus benefits including free meals on duty and car park (subject to availability)

The Von Hügel Institute for Critical Catholic Inquiry (VHI), based at St Edmund’s College in the University of Cambridge, invites applications for the new position of Executive Officer. The VHI seeks a dynamic, pro-active and resourceful staff-member to support and coordinate a range of key strategic goals at a significant moment of the Institute’s history. The postholder will work closely with the VHI Director and the VHI Advisory Board, and liaise with College, University and external stakeholders to ensure a long and sustainable future for this unique research institute. You will be bright, energetic, enterprising, driven, flexible, and an excellent communicator. Duties will include coordination and management, communications and PR, benefactor research and stewardship, fundraising record-keeping, grant application research and writing. This is a fantastic opportunity in a unique institution. This is a full-time position for one year in the first instance. Part-time and flexible work hours will be considered. Salary will be commensurate with experience up to a level of £34,000 per annum FTE (pay review pending, August 2021), along with an attractive benefits package.
