Seminar Series: Faith and Governance

Professor Stefano Zamagni will deliver the sixth lecture in the 2013-14 Seminar Series Faith and Governance. Stefano Zamagni is Professor of Economics and former Dean of the economics faculty at the University of Bologna, Italy. He is a member of the Pontifical Council on Justice and Peace, of the Executive Committee of the International Economy Association (1989-1999) and of the Steering Committee of Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. He was President of ICMC from 1999 to 2007 (an NGO based in Geneva, dealing with migrant and refugee issues) and Fellow of the Human Development and Capability Association (Harvard University). He was appointed (2007) President of the Italian Commission for the Non-Profit Sector, Milan. He is a fellow of various academies and associations, a member of scientific committees of economic journals and a well known international speaker and author.
