The Von Hügel Institute continues its seminar series with Revd Dr Hughes (Dean of Jesus College, Cambridge). In his acclaimed book "The end of work: theological critiques of capitalism" (Blackwell, 2007) Hughes examines the theology of work in the modern world, draws on the work of various twentieth century Catholic thinkers, explores debates about labor under capitalism and considers the relationship between divine and human work. John Hughes teaches philosophy, ethics, doctrine, and social thought in the Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge and he is  Dean of Chapel and Fellow of Jesus College.

The Lecture will take place in the Garden Room of St Edmund’s College on Friday 25th January 2013 at 17:00 and will be accompanied by refreshments. No booking required, everyone welcome!
