The Von Hügel Institute (VHI) at St Edmund’s College wishes to recruit a Conference Organiser/ Research Assistant to assist with the planning and organisation of a major international Conference on ‘Patents on Life: Through the Lenses of Law, Religious  Faith, and Social Justice’ which will take place in September 2015.  The post-holder will also assist with the subsequent publication of the conference papers and support Dr Roman Cholij (PI) and Professor John Loughlin (Director of the VHI) in all aspects of the project development.

The post is part-time (0.5) for one year beginning on 27 April 2015 or as soon as possible after that. This role offers an opportunity to be involved with the conception and delivery of a prestigious international conference and would be ideal for someone with good organisational skills, who also has some interest in intellectual property law and/or international development.
