The November special issue of the US journal Current History, dedicated to the theme of Diasporas, features an article on notions of transnational Islam by VHI Director of Research Dr Sara Silvestri.

Dr Silvestri presented a paper on religious responses to the refugee crisis, with a focus on the Catholic Church, at the October meeting of the Transatlantic Policy Network on Religion & Diplomacy in Rome.
