Gill Goulding was invited to contribute to the Colloquium of the International Association of Catholic Bioethicists

VHI Senior Research Associates Professor Gill Goulding gave a paper on 'Authority and Vulnerability' at the invitation-only colloquium of the International Association of Catholic Bioethicists (IACB) in Quebec, in June 2019.

The 2019 Colloquium 'Caring for Persons with Compromised Agency: Navigating Complexity' focussed on ethical issues arising from health care decision making by, with or for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, those living with dementia and other progressive cognitive impairments, and their family caregivers.

Professor Goulding  is also featured in a documentary of the 8th IACB International Colloquium 'Healing Relationships and Transformations in Health Care', which highlights the unique process of discernment that resulted in the colloquium’s consensus statement.
