Senior Research Associate Professor M. Burke has been honoured with the prestigious Society for Research Into Higher Education (SRHE) Accolade for 'Contribution to the Field of Research in Higher Education.' This recognition celebrates Professor Burke's extensive research spanning several years in the dynamic realms of digital technologies, Ethics and AI. The SRHE Accolades showcase the remarkable contributions of its members to Higher Education, the academic community, and SRHE itself. The award acknowledges the honoree's work across various career stages and professional roles within the organisation.

About Professor M Burke: 
Professor M Burke, PhD MBA DMS MA FSRA, is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and served for many years as Professor of Management at the University of Winchester. During her tenure as Faculty Head of Research, she played a pivotal role in advancing the university's research initiatives. Recently conferred as 'Emerita Professor' at Winchester, Professor Burke continues to contribute her expertise as a member of the University’s Centre for Information Rights. She is also one of the founding members of the Cambridge research group ‘ Fragility and Flourishing: the AI Initiative at the VHI.’

Professor Burke has been a regular keynote speaker at the bi-annual AI Congress and is currently working on her upcoming book exploring information models. She is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Copenhagen.
