VHI Research Associate Dr Roman Cholij has completed a research report on Patents on Genetic Resources which was commissioned by the Geneva based Caritas in Veritate Fundation. The paper has the aim of helping the Holy See prepare a position for the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) intergovernmental committee negotiations on a new international  treaty on Genetic Resources and IP.

This project is part of the VHI research area Law and Religion.

An interdisciplinary research hub inspired by Catholic thought and culture, focussed on contemporary global realities, and dedicated to encounter, dialogue, and transformation
