Peng Wang (King's College London) will deliver a paper on The re-emergence of Chinese Organised Crime.

Peng Wang will present his research on the growing threat represented by Chinese organised crime to national international security, focusing on the resurgence of the criminal underworld and rampant police corruption in mainland China; cross-border crime in Greater China; and Chinese organised crime overseas, including in the UK. Wang's article "The Increasing Threat of Chinese Organised Crime. National, Regional and International Perspectives" (RUSI Journal, Volume 158, Issue 4, 2013) is available online.

The lecture will begin at 17:00 in the Garden Room (Library Building) at St. Edmund's College and drinks will follow. No booking required.
